Sadly..
Cali's been adopted (happy for her), and I found out from my property manger I can have a dog, but under twenty lbs....so I guess I get to have a rat dog??? (sorry for any of you rat dog lovers...lol), I just happen to love bigger dogs.

yeah, I have heard that from many places. Sorry to hear that.
Don't they realize it's the little bitty dogs that bark all the time? I like the big, lumbering lick your face, "how ya doin' mom" dogs....I love other peoples little dogs, but not for me...no offense to those of you with little doggies...
weeeeeelllllllll now...... that sucks. go to the humane society, there are many "mutts" you may find under 20 pounds that might be adorable without nessecarily being an ankle biting yippy yapping doggie. [i love all kinds, no offense].
We have a scottish terrier and like him just fine. Of course, he is very large for his breed and I believe that he weighs about twenty pounds...maybe more. The last time I took him to the vet, he asked me what I was feeding Socks since he was "just a big muscle bound brute."
