That's a really difficult song to listen to "casually" as it were. I often skip over it when I listen to Lucky (my fave CD). But it is very powerful and a great history lesson as well as a tribute.

thank you for posting this.. i have all of her music and when i first heard this song, i cried like a baby. i never knew one of us was on the plane and that he was a hero. funny how the media never focuses on things of this nature. if not for melissa this hero would remain unknown. for shame america, for shame...

I know M.S. It's a hard song to listen too, but yesterday was the day to do it.

C, that's odd...maybe because when 9/11 happened, and I was living in SF, and Mark Bingham was from the Bay Area, it was all over the news, as much or more than the other people. His mom was quite the crusader and I always admired her for it. She made sure people knew what a special man he was.
